Privacy Policy

• We collect your name, your email, and the questions you ask the app. That's it.
• We use them to run the service — to sign you in and to research and return your answers. We may also review questions, answers, and the research steps behind them to check answer quality and fix problems.
• We do not track you, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
• You can view and delete what the app has remembered, and delete your account, from inside the app.

We also let the app remember a few facts you express in conversation (for example, "prefers unders in divisional games") to tailor future briefings. These are stored under your account, and you can view and delete each one, or clear them all, in the app's Memory screen.

Photos

If you attach a photo, the image is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and passed to our AI research provider (DeepSeek) to read it — the same provider, under the same terms, that handles your research questions. We process the photo in memory only: we never write it to disk, logs, or backups, and we discard it as soon as it has been read. Only the extracted details are kept, as part of your question.

Notifications

If you opt in, the app can notify you when your research is ready. To deliver these notifications when the app is closed, we register your device with Apple Push Notification service and store the resulting device push token with your account. The token is used solely to deliver research-complete notifications — never for marketing without a separate opt-in, and never shared with anyone beyond Apple's notification service. If you decline notification permission, no token is collected. Deleting your account deletes stored device tokens.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your precise or coarse location, contacts, browsing history, health data, or advertising identifiers. Photos are used solely to read what you attach and are discarded as soon as they have been read. We use no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

To generate a written research answer, our backend server combines your question with sports data it has gathered, and sends that combined prompt to a third-party AI provider, DeepSeek (operated by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd.; api.deepseek.com), which returns the composed analysis. We disclose this because Apple's App Review Guideline 5.1.2(i) (effective November 2025) requires apps to tell you when personal data — here, the content of your questions — is shared with a third party for processing.

With each question, we send the AI provider:

• the question you ask;
• recent conversation context and a short rolling summary of the thread; and
• saved memory and preferences — things like your favorite teams and how you like your research written.

Live web lookups also run during research to gather current lines, injuries and news.

• We do not send the AI provider your password or your email.
• DeepSeek's retention and handling of API data is governed by its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Data may be processed on servers located outside the United States, including in the People's Republic of China.

AI processing is opt-in. Before your first research question, the app shows an in-app consent screen naming the provider (DeepSeek) and exactly what leaves your device; nothing is sent for AI processing until you agree. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Profile → AI processing.

Live sports data is retrieved from public sports-data sources; those requests do not include your identity.

• Account data (name, email, account id): for as long as your account exists.
• Conversation history and remembered facts: kept so your threads and personalization work, until you delete them or delete your account.
• When you delete your account, we delete your account record, your conversation history, your remembered facts, and any stored device push tokens. Routine backups are purged on our normal backup rotation.

• Edit your name — in Profile.
• View and delete remembered facts — in the Memory screen (delete one, or clear all).
• Delete your account — from inside the app; this removes your account and associated data as described above.
• Sign out — from inside the app.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it except with the service providers strictly needed to run Regime AI (our hosting and the AI provider described above), and only for that purpose.

Regime AI is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit what we hold in the first place.

If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase — Apple processes the payment and we never receive your card or bank details; we store only which plan is active, to operate your account. Adding analytics or a new category of data collection would each trigger an update here.
